Accuracy note 1: Stylized "4" on Lakenheath-based F-15Es

The photos below clearly show the stylized "4" that was used on Lakenheath-based F-15E Strike Eagles during 2018. Click on the images to enlarge.

Accuracy note 2: Aircraft names on starboard side

Several of the aircraft that participated in the 494FS' Middle East deployment were photographed with aircraft names (or clear remnants of aircraft names) on their starboard (right) side. We believe that all of the aircraft wore their names on this side at some point during the deployment. Please see the photos of "Lady Liberty" (91-0311) and "Ravage" (91-0326) which clearly show the names, and the photos of "Deadpool" (91-0329) and Bullseye (00-3004) which shows the remnants of the freshly-removed name. Accuracy note 3: Paint barn markings

There is no doubt that most (possibly all) F-15E's based at Lakenheath during 2018-2019 have been painted at Warner-Robins Air Logistics Center (WRALC) after USAF consolidated all F-15 support here. See the photos below which clearly show the WRALC paint barn marking. All of the photos are from the period 2016-2019. Click on the images to enlarge.
